IL-7 Development Pipeline
Cytheris is developing an immunotherapy franchise with multiple clinical trials of IL-7 in multiple indications including HIV, HBV, HCV, post-BMT, oncology and idiopathic CD4 lymphocytopenia, with additional trials planned to initiate in 2H 2010.
Studies not sponsored directly by Cytheris include the ongoing NIAID/NIH trial in idiopathic CD4 lymphocytopenia (ICL) and a cancer vaccine study in children with Ewing's sarcoma family of tumors or similar genetic tumors sponsored by US National Cancer Institute, IL-7 will also be utilized in a multi-company/institutional study sponsored by ORVACS (the international HIV organization funded by the French Bettencourt Schueller Foundation) aimed at attacking the HIV viral reservoir and in a study of HIV immune non-responders to be sponsored by the French National Agency for AIDS Research (ANRS), both scheduled to start in 2H 2010.
