Thérèse Croughs, MD, Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Croughs is a specialist in internal medicine. She received her MD from the School of Medicine at the Catholic University of Louvain, Brussels, Belgium where she served her residency. With more than 15 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry, she has acquired a high level of medical expertise in the fields of hematology, immunology, infectious diseases and oncology, as well as clinical development experience in biotechnology (rFVIII, rFVIIa in particular) and regulatory affairs. Prior to Cytheris, she held various positions of increasing responsibility at Bayer and NovoNordisk. More recently she was responsible for European medical affairs at BioAlliance Pharma, Paris.
