Jean-Pierre Routy, MD, Division of Hematology and Immunodeficiency, Royal Victoria Hospital, McGill University Health Centre; Associate Professor, Department of Medicine, Division of Experimental Medicine, McGill University, Montreal, Quebec, Canada
Dr. Routy is a recognized expert in HIV infection. His research focuses on gaining a better understanding of the immune correlate for HIV control and the role of several cytokines in T-cell reconstitution, including interleukin-2 (IL-2), interleukin-7 (IL-7) and KGF. He is also involved in conducting clinical trials on HIV immune reconstitution using IL-2 and KGF along with an HIV specific vaccine.
